Budget Rating Scale:

3-4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or beef (Sirloin is a good cut for kebobs or chose your favourite cut)
3⁄4 cup beer (your favourite, the darker the better)
 2 tablespoons brown sugar
 1 teaspoon mustard powder
 1 tablespoon honey
 cracked pepper
1

Cube meat: I usually cube my kebobs into 1" cubes, so look for a piece of meat cut at least 1" tall. Tip: Making sure you have uniform size cubes ensures that all pieces of meat on the skewer will be done at the same time.

2

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to the boil, reduce heat & simmer 10 minutes uncovered. Allow to cool. Marinate meat in beer mixture for at least 1-2 hours turning occasionally.

3

BBQ Kebobs on an oiled medium grill. Grilling chicken kebobs will take about 10 to 15 minutes, turning frequently. Beef will take less time depending of course how you like your beef done. As always with poultry don't undercook and with beef, don’t overcook! Test your chicken when it is getting close by removing a kebob and cutting into a cube. There should be no pink inside and any juices should run clear. Serve warm!
